The Beatles sold more than 2.25 million copies of their re-mastered albums in North America, Japan and the U.K. in the five days after their Sept. 9 release.
Despite being disintegrated for more than 40 years, The Beatles broke records for most simultaneous titles in the charts by a single artist.
The Fab Four had 16 titles in the top 50—14 re-mastered CDs and two box sets.
The albums were released to coincided with the sale of “The Beatles: Rock Band.”
